Moonflower perform a wide variety of music as a duo or a band at parties, weddings corporate events etc, and will make sure your event is enjoyable and memorable. Each member having over twenty years of live performing experience, Moonflower will deliver a professional per- formance tailored to suit your specific needs. Moonflower can perform as an acoustic duo, with full backing tracks or a combination of both. We will also play music of your choice during our breaks, will make available a wireless microphone for any speeches or announcements, and use high quality audio systems.
Rachael - Vocals
Rachael has been singing for the past 20 years. She has performed in various settings, including a 4 year wine bar and wedding function resi- dency, session vocalist with many bands and duos, cabaret shows, was support act to the Supremes, and original recording artist with Quarter Pipe Recorders.
Her effortless delivery, smooth vocals and infectious energy has lead to her successful career in music. Her experience ranges from singing styles across the spectrum from Pop, Rock, Soul, Funk, Retro right through to the smooth sounds of Jazz & Blues. Words can only give youan idea of how special Rachael’s vocals are.
Bruno - Guitar/B Vocals
Bruno has been playing guitar in numerous bands for over 20 years In this time frame he has covered every music style form jazz to metal.
He has played guitar in several of the very successful Australian show bands including The Australian Madonna Show, Inxsive, Alice of Oz, The Australian Creedence Show, The Bee Gees Story, Eton John show, Robbie Williams Show, Elvis Presley Show, The Beatles Show just to name a few. And many cover bands such as The Maxys and Bitter- Sweet. His extensive musical experience and ability adds spark toMoonflower’s performance.
Weddings
Live Music For Weddings
Moonflower can perform as an acoustic duo, with full backing tracks or a combination of both at your wedding reception.
We will also play music of your choice during our breaks and key moments of the reception, make available wireless microphones for speeches and announcements, and use high quality audio systems.
An Example Of What We Do
Ceremony: We can work with you to set the perfect tone for your day whether it is modern, traditional classics or vintage music.
Entry: Smooth easy listening live acoustic music. As the guests arrive and take their seats they will be entertained with live music creating a buzzing atmosphere as they wait for the newly weds to arrive.
As the wedding party makes it’s entry we play a different theme song (recorded music) for each bridal party pair, and then the music for the main entrance of the bride & groom.
Dinner: As the guests resume their seats and wait for meal they are entertained with some more mellow live music which always creates a great ambiance. And we’ll play background music during our breaks as per discussed during the planning stage.
Formalities: We supply microphones for speeches, play live or recorded music at specific moments and use a smoke machine if requested (with venue permission).
Dance Party!: After dinner and formalities it time to party! We kick it up a notch with backings and disco lights playing a variety of dance/pop/rock tunes that will have your guests dancing up a storm till the end of the night.
