Venus 2, born as duo in 2005, have been entertaining pubs, clubs, and private functions since then as  full time musicians which has provided them with their only incomes during this time. The husband & wife team, Bruce & Diana Black, have always been involved in music, bands, and radio. Both performing in bands as part time incomes since the 70's.

Venus 2 mainlines as a covers act, catering for all ages and most genre's of music though they put in an effort to try perform nostalgic covers that havent been heard very often in the covers market. Diane, with her rich & beautiful voice, does mostly all of the lead vox, while Bruce lends with back up vox and fills out with the electric guitar requirements of their tracks.

Venus 2 now has a current strong focus on writing and recording their own original material and preparing a release in tne next 2 months of a CD and tracks for Itunes. Their original tracks are trying to recapture the nostalgic sound of the 70's & 80's that they feel the crowds are still wanting to hear. Two of their originals can be heard on their Reverbnation website which have been well received and popular to listeners in USA & UK and earning them a Sydney No3 spot on the reverbnation charts.
